Soft Armor

Inspired by the chronic sleep deprivation of modern life, this project reimagines clothing as a source of comfort, rest, and emotional protection. In a fast-paced environment where true rest is often neglected, the garments aim to provide a sense of physical and psychological ease. Drawing from the soft, enveloping qualities of bedding—such as duvets, pillows, and quilts—the designs emphasize tactility, warmth, and gentle structure. Through soft textures and cocoon-like forms, the collection explores the idea of “soft armor,” where protection is not rigid or defensive, but nurturing and intimate. This approach challenges traditional notions of armor by transforming it into something comforting, offering a wearable space for rest and vulnerability.
