The Alchemy of Heritage: A Modern Visual Identity for New Age Wisdom
This project presents a strategic visual transformation for a historic publishing house established in 1901, specializing in New Age subjects such as alternative healing, psychic development, and holistic wellness. The core challenge was to modernize a century-old legacy for today’s sophisticated audience while honoring its rich origins. The objective was to bridge the gap between long-standing tradition and the future-forward spiritual seeker. I developed a bespoke typographical system that harmonizes distinctive modern flair with classic structural integrity, paired with a curated color palette reflecting cosmic depth and authenticity. To elevate the brand’s visual narrative, I integrated original, hand-crafted illustrations for the series, moving away from generic genre tropes toward an artisanal aesthetic. The result is a comprehensive visual identity that stands as a testament to 'Modern Authenticity'—where 100 years of tradition meet the evolving, high-end aesthetics of the future.
